demand the impossible

This Demand the Impossible top which was crudely and quickly made by me as a homage to the t-shirt Malcolm Mclaren once wore, was a throwback to the social movements in Paris 1968 in which artists made posters that provoked awareness & action. It was a collaboration between students and workers that reflected the frustrations of the time due to poverty, unemployment and the opposition of the Vietnam War among other things. Examples of the posters can be found at http://www.art-for-a-change.com/Paris/paris.html
